Centennial of the Montreal Canadiens

This season, the Montreal Canadiens hockey team is celebrating 100 years of existence. Pubco was approached by the Royal Canadian Mint to produce a range of cards with embedded coins.

Pubco has prepared a whole series of ingenious products to commemorate this event: individual cards that feature the six logos used by the Canadiens throughout their history; cards that include the coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint (including the commemorative dollar with the famous jersey, with a space for autographs); and even a card on which the dollar is affixed to a magnetic puck, with a miniature hockey stick.

The centennial of the "Sainte Flanelle" (the holy flannel sweater) is a big event—and Pubco understands the iconographic value of all things holy, regardless of their origins!

Pubco's relations with the Banque centrale du Luxembourg have a dynastic element to them. Since 2004, Pubco has been publishing inclusions of the commemorative 2-euro coin bearing the effigy of Archduke Henri's family.

In partnership with the Royal Canadian Mint, Pubco is offering the international market a commemorative series of inserted sport-themed coins, the first of which entered circulation last February.

The United States Mint has entrusted its Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Set to Pubco for embedding.
Since 2007, the U.S. Mint has been minting bronze reproductions of its First Spouse Gold $10 Coin collection
